La Vie Boheme-A night at the Opera

If you avert your attention to my profile you will notice that I adore Opera. I have actually wanted to be an opera singer since I was a small child and have been studying classical voice since the age of seven. For Christmas, my dad bought me tickets to see La Boheme this spring at the met. Naturally I need a dress. Here are the contenders:

I can't believe I've fallen so hard for two black dresses. I think it's the muppet in me but feathers just scream eccentric. That's me all right. Vintage - $128

This is more of the usual. Jewel tones are young and the cut is really easy. I would probably even wear this during a recital. It doesn't cinch the waist but it still has shape. Betsey Johnson Solid Charmuse with Chiffon Slip Dress- $330

I love polka dots. And Ruffles, this is like a flamenco dress only mondernized. New Madeline Dress - $70

  2. For La Boheme at the Met? I'd say there aren't many places where feathers are more appropriate...

  5. I lovee the vintage dress, but then I am always biased towards vintage pieces. It would be amazing for the opera
